Are you a Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Worcester? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Details:

  • Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
  • Location: Worcester (NHS Hospital) – NHS Hospital
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time hours
  • Start Date: March 2025
  • End Date: September 2025
  • Rate of Pay: £28 – £37 per hour (via umbrella), dependent on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in providing expert pharmaceutical care within a large acute NHS Trust. In this role, you will:

  • Cover a range of medical and surgical wards
  • Provide inpatient dispensary cover when required
  • Deliver expert clinical interventions to optimise patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current and valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
  • Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience (essential)
  • Strong clinical knowledge in acute care settings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This locum contract role offers full-time working hours, Monday to Friday, for an initial 6-month period, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. Free parking is available on-site.
