Hunter Adams are delighted to be supporting our client in the manufacturing industry with sourcing an HR Manager in a standalone role. Reporting to the CEO, you will provide hands-on, practical HR support to operational leaders across all sites in the UK. This role is focused on delivering effective, consistent people management across the business, supporting managers, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance.
In this role you will:
- Partner closely with the CEO and site leaders to support day-to-day people matters
- Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice aligned to business needs
- Build strong, trusted relationships with managers and frontline teams
- Maintain a visible and approachable presence across multiple sites
- Lead and manage a range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters
- Support and coach managers to handle issues confidently, consistently, and fairly
- Deliver consistent, high-quality HR support across multiple UK locations
- Develop, implement, and maintain clear and effective HR processes
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment across UK sites
- Support managers with performance management and navigating challenging conversations
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor standalone role
- Strong employee relations experience in an operational or engineering environment
- Experience supporting multi-site businesses
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law
- Comfortable working directly with senior leaders
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK
