Are you a People Systems expert who thrives on optimising HR technology and driving efficiency? Hunter Adams are delighted to be supporting our client, the National Trust for Scotland with sourcing a proactive and detail-driven systems specialist to take ownership of their People Systems landscape and play a key role in shaping how they deliver people services across the Trust.

As People Systems Partner, you’ll be the go-to expert for all HR systems, ensuring they run smoothly, securely, and deliver real value to the organisation. You’ll work at the heart of People and IT, improving processes, supporting users, and helping drive the digital People strategy forward.

Key responsibilities
  • Owning and leading the day-to-day administration of all People Systems, acting as the subject matter expert across HR & Payroll (People XD), VMS, NTS learning, Health & Safety, and e-Recruitment.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for users, delivering expert support, guidance, and coaching to maximise system adoption.
  • Managing system administration end-to-end, including user access, permissions, data security, and organisational structures.
  • Partnering with senior People and IT leaders to deliver the People Systems roadmap and continuous improvements.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to design and implement streamlined, integrated processes.
  • Proactively managing and escalating system issues, defects, and enhancement requests.
About you
  • Proven experience administering HR / People systems (HRIS)
  • Strong understanding of data security, governance, and user access management
  • Ability to document processes, configurations and data flows clearly
  • A problem-solver who can identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support and coach users
