Roles/Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, detailed and competitive tenders within agreed deadlines
- Review drawings, specifications and project information to prepare full cost breakdowns
- Estimate materials, labour, plant and subcontractor packages for projects up to £10m
- Identify risks, challenges and value engineering opportunities within tender packages
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure clarity on scope, pricing and assumptions
- Maintain organised records of tender documentation and correspondence
- Support compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and company procedures
Qualifications
- Proven Estimator experience within a main contractor environment
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials and processes
- Ability to produce accurate cost estimates across refurbishment and new-build schemes
