Roles/Responsibilities

Manage the commercial aspects of landscaping projects from procurement through to final account.

Procure materials and subcontract packages.

Prepare cost plans, forecasts, and commercial reports.

Produce and agree valuations and final accounts.

Manage project variations and contractual matters.

Liaise with Contracts Managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Support the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Develop strong supplier relationships while overseeing buying activities.

Qualifications

Approximately 4–5+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.

Experience within landscaping, groundworks, civil engineering, or a similar subcontracting environment.

Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction methodologies.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
