About the Client Our Client is an established business operating within the architectural and design sector, delivering high-quality bespoke solutions to its customers. The successful candidate will join an experienced team and contribute to a range of design and technical projects. Roles/Responsibilities Produce accurate 2D CAD drawings and technical drawings in line with project requirements. Develop detailed drawings from design concepts, specifications, and project information. Review and modify existing drawings as required. Ensure drawings meet relevant technical, quality, and industry standards. Work closely with internal teams and other stakeholders to understand project requirements. Make revisions and updates based on feedback and design changes. Maintain accurate drawing records and documentation. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Identify potential design or drafting issues and communicate them to the relevant team members.Qualifications 5–10 years of professional experience in 2D CAD design/drafting. Strong proficiency in 2D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD or equivalent. Experience producing detailed technical drawings. Strong understanding of dimensions, tolerances, scale, and technical drawing principles. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret technical specifications and design requirements. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing individual responsibilities. Previous experience within an architectural, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or related environment would be advantageous.Benefits Competitive salary of £36,000–£40,000 per annum.
