Roles/Responsibilities

  • Assist with the commercial management of legal disrepair and maintenance contracts under senior supervision.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of CVRs, forecasting, and profitability reporting.
  • Assist with monthly applications, valuations, and cash flow management.
  • Learn to price works using the NHF Schedule of Rates with increasing confidence and accuracy.
  • Support the commercial control of work orders and variations.
  • Assist with reviewing validation surveys and identifying commercial risks.
  • Support subcontract procurement and supply chain administration activities.
  • Work closely with operational teams and clients to ensure efficient project delivery and strong working relationships.
  • Assist with minor direct delivery works where required.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting documentation.

Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience within a Quantity Surveying or commercial support role preferred.
  • Previous exposure to social housing, planned maintenance, or reactive maintenance environments is advantageous but not essential.
  • Understanding of valuations, applications, cost reporting, and commercial processes.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and eager to learn within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operational, supply chain, and client teams.
