About the Client

Our client is a leading provider of fire protection solutions, seeking a skilled fire stopper to join their expanding team, carrying out new installations, remediation works, and surveys across a range of building types.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Carry out fire stopping installations and remediation work on commercial buildings
• Assess and inspect fire protection systems in existing structures
• Travel to sites across the South East, including hospitals, care homes, and student housing
• Use One Trace or similar apps to document completed works
• Conduct on-site surveys and contribute to quotation processes
• Engage in ongoing training, including fire door inspection development

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fire stopping experience
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong experience with batt and mastic, fire barriers, and fire compound systems
• Proficiency in surveying and quoting work
• Familiarity with One Trace or equivalent field reporting tools
• Understanding of third-party accreditation systems (e.g., BMTrada)
• Full, clean UK driving license
