  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, service, and maintain CCTV and integrated security systems across multiple customer sites.
  • Configure and programme Synectics Command & Control systems, including the integration of cameras, mapping, graphical interfaces, and system expansions.
  • Programme, configure, and commission Synectics PSNs.
  • Install, configure, commission, and maintain Axis and Bosch CCTV camera systems.
  • Install, commission, configure, and support IP‑based CCTV networks, ensuring optimum system performance.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain both IP and analogue CCTV systems.
  • Install and configure wireless communication solutions, including Siklu and Cambium technologies.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
  • Work on Town Centre CCTV schemes and Local Authority surveillance contracts where required.
  • Accurately complete service documentation and maintain high standards of workmanship while complying with all health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience installing, commissioning, servicing, and fault‑finding CCTV and integrated security systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of both IP‑based and analogue CCTV platforms.
  • Experience with Synectics Command & Control systems and Synectics PSNs is highly desirable.
  • Hands‑on experience with Axis and Bosch CCTV technologies.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication systems, including Siklu and Cambium, would be advantageous.
  • Confident working independently to diagnose and resolve technical issues while also contributing effectively within a wider engineering team.
  • Experience working on public space surveillance systems, Town Centre CCTV, or Local Authority contracts is advantageous.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at height using ladders, access towers, and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs).
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
