Roles / Responsibilities

  • Generate new business to increase sales across the client’s product portfolio
  • Research and identify potential leads using multiple data sources
  • Qualify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within target organizations
  • Play a leading role in new business pitches and secure new accounts
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales and company presentations
  • Conduct cold calling and proactive outreach as required
  • Negotiate commercial terms, including contracts and payment structures
  • Manage and develop existing customer accounts to retain and grow revenue
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current accounts
  • Respond to customer queries and follow up on opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to achieve business objectives
  • Contribute to sales targets, forecasting, and annual business planning
  • Attend industry exhibitions as an exhibitor and/or visitor
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback to management
  • Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and social media activity
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales management
  • Strong ability to generate new business and manage key accounts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with sales targets, forecasts, and business plans
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required
