- Roles/Responsibilities
- Manage multiple contracts simultaneously from commencement through to completion.
- Plan, programme and coordinate project works to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Organise and allocate directly employed and subcontract labour.
- Coordinate labour, materials and resources across multiple live sites.
- Liaise closely with Site Managers, clients and other project representatives.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that could affect delivery.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Support effective project planning, resource allocation and operational delivery.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them through to successful completion.
- Contribute to the Client's continued expansion across residential and commercial markets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Contracts Management, Project Management or a similar construction-based role.
- Strong experience managing multiple projects and programmes simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating labour and subcontractors.
- Good understanding of construction project delivery and commercial considerations.
- Strong client-facing and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive approach with the ability to resolve operational issues quickly.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership within a growing SME environment.
- Experience within contract flooring is advantageous but not essential.
- Candidates from related sectors such as flooring supply/manufacturing, drylining, interiors, fit-out or specialist subcontracting will also be considered.
- Knowledge of flooring products such as carpet, carpet tiles, sheet vinyl, LVT and laminate would be beneficial.
