We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in commercial driving and possess the necessary skills to excel in this role.
We have permanent vacancies for C+E ( class 1) drivers to join our busy operation at Huntapac Produce.

*Class 1 (C+E) Driver Vacancies – Multiple Opportunities Available*

*Overview*
We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our busy operation at Huntapac Produce Ltd. We have permanent vacancies available and are seeking reliable, safety-conscious drivers with a professional attitude.
Whether you are an experienced Class 1 driver or a newly passed driver, we would be happy to hear from you.
*Work Involves*
* Palletised deliveries using refrigerated trailers carrying multi-temperature loads
* Nationwide deliveries to regional distribution centres (RDCs)
* Some loading and unloading using a pallet truck
* Bulker deliveries to and from farms
* Safely operate a Class 1 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) for the transportation of produce across various locations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee roadworthiness and safety standards are met.
* Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and optimize fuel usage.
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including adherence to driving hours and tachograph rules.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on route.
A rigorous induction and assessment programme will be completed with every successful candidate to ensure a safe and successful start.

* 4 on / 4 off rotation
*Who We’re Looking For*
* Experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers are very welcome to apply
* Newly passed Class 1 drivers will be considered, especially those with Class 2 (C) experience
* Bus drivers who have recently passed their Class 1 licence are also encouraged to apply
*Responsibilities*
* Drive trucks to transport vegetables over short and long distances
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
* Maintain accurate driving logs
* Comply with all road traffic laws and company procedures
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
* Ability to handle physical tasks involved in loading/unloading cargo when required.
*Skills & Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Truck Driver
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* High attention to detail
* Confident using handheld devices and basic IT applications
* Adaptable and well organised, with the ability to manage your working day
*What We’re Offering*
* £15.00 per hour – basic day rate
* £16.00 per hour – basic night rate
* £17.50 per hour – weekend day rate
* £18.50 per hour – weekend night rate
* £7 - Meal allowance daily
* £26.20 - Night out allowance
