About PandaFresh: PandaFresh is a subsidiary of HungryPanda – which is the global leader in overseas Chinese food delivery sector with operations across 9 countries and 60+ cities. PandaFresh is a specialized Asian grocery delivery business focusing on serving the overseas Chinese community. We currently operate across four countries in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia with both dark stores and retail shops. Our store stocks over thousands of specialised products from China and Asia and sells through our Panda Fresh app and offline stores.
Job duties:
- Analyse market needs and trends; develop procurement plans aligned with company strategy.
- Drive channel development for fresh food categories, including supplier sourcing and new product development.
- Build differentiated category strategies tailored to regional market conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships, order fulfilment, and payment processes.
- Maintain procurement systems, records, and data management.
- Control procurement costs, set competitive pricing, and safeguard product quality and gross margin.
- Continuously review and optimise procurement workflows.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, and finance to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications:
- At least 3+ years of procurement experience in fresh food, FMCG, or retail; hands-on experience with fresh.
- Solid understanding of procurement and import/export processes.
- Strong data analysis and cost control skills; working knowledge of relevant legal and financial principles.
- Sharp market awareness, new product instincts, clear logical thinking, and confident negotiation skills.
- Proactive, honest, and highly responsible — a strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment.
