SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER Location: London Reports to: Head of Talent and Strategic Partnerships

ABOUT US

We are one of the UK’s most successful independent television production companies and we are producing an ambitious new digital media brand operating at the intersection of premium storytelling, culture and community.

We work with some of the most recognisable talent in entertainment, media and television producing content that spans long-form editorial and high-impact social.

We move fast, hold ourselves to a high creative standard, and believe that the best social media doesn't just interrupt culture, it creates it.

We're building a team of exceptional people who are as comfortable in a strategy session as they are behind a camera.

If you want to work on content that genuinely matters to millions of people, this is the role for you.

THE ROLE

To own and elevate our social media presence across all key platforms leading strategy, producing content, and managing the day-to-day ensuring our brand and talent show up with authority, creativity, and commercial impact across every channel.

This is a hands-on senior role.

You will set the strategic direction and roll up your sleeves to execute it: scripting, shooting, editing, captioning, and publishing all to an exceptional standard.

The role is ideal for an experienced social media producer ready to take on more strategic responsibility.

There is huge potential for growth as the brand grows, and you will be supported by a direct report and edit support, but you must be willing to do the doing while we build the foundations.

OUTCOMES

  • Platform dominance: Build and maintain a compelling, consistent presence across Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook growing audience, engagement, and reach in line with agreed targets.
  • Content excellence: Produce short and long-form social content - clips, reels, stories, carousels, stills that is platform-native, on-brand, and audience-first.
  • Strategic leadership: Develop and own the monthly content calendar, aligned to talent schedules, editorial priorities, and campaign moments.
  • Performance intelligence: Track and report on KPIs, using data to continuously iterate, improve, and inform creative decisions.
  • Talent stewardship: Understand how to present high-profile talent at their best - protecting reputation while maximising reach and authenticity.
  • DAY TO DAY
  • Lead and manage all social media channels - primarily Instagram, with active presence across Tik Tok, You Tube Shorts, and Facebook.
  • Develop platform-specific content strategies rooted in audience insight and performance data.
  • Script, shoot and edit short-form video content - including on-location shoots with talent, behind-the-scenes, interview clips, and reactive content.
  • Write compelling, on-brand captions and copy across all platforms.
  • Plan and manage the content calendar, coordinating with internal teams around key editorial and talent moments.
  • Monitor trends, emerging formats, and platform algorithm changes - bringing proactive recommendations to the team.
  • Own social analytics and reporting: track performance weekly, translate data into clear insights, and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Manage community engagement - maintaining brand voice in comments, DMs, and responses.
  • Collaborate closely with production, talent management, PR, and partnerships teams to ensure social is fully integrated into wider brand activity.
  • Brief and manage external freelance support (editors, videographers, designers) when required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years in social media, with demonstrable experience across Instagram (primary) and at least two of: Tik Tok, You Tube, Facebook.
  • A genuine all-rounder: you can develop strategy on Monday, shoot and edit content on Tuesday, and analyse performance data on Wednesday.
  • Strong video production skills - comfortable operating a camera and editing to a broadcast-quality standard using mobile-first and desktop tools (Cap Cut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
  • Exceptional copywriting - you understand how to write for social: concise, engaging, and distinctly on-brand.
  • Proven experience growing accounts and driving meaningful engagement, not just impressions.
  • Solid understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and the creator landscape.
  • Experience working with high-profile talent, public figures, or celebrities - understanding the sensitivities, logistics, and opportunities this brings.
  • Background in media, entertainment, film, TV, or a high-volume content environment.
  • The Person
  • You are culturally switched on - you consume content obsessively and understand what works and why.
  • You bring strategic thinking *and* creative energy in equal measure.
  • You are calm under pressure, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities without dropping the ball.
  • You take ownership - you don't wait to be told; you identify the opportunity and move on it.
  • You have high standards and genuinely care about the quality of what goes out under the brand.
  • You are collaborative and know how to work effectively with talent, creatives, and commercial stakeholders.
  • WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Within the first 90 days, you will have audited our current channels, developed a refined social strategy, established a consistent publishing rhythm, and begun demonstrating measurable growth.

Within 12 months, you will have built a content engine that consistently reaches and engages our audience and elevated the brand's social presence to match the calibre of the talent and content we represent.

  • THE PACKAGE
  • Hybrid working: Minimum 3 days in our London office
  • Access to world-class talent, productions, and creative environments
