Description

As a key member of our Accounting Solutions Team, this Manager position will participate in building our advisory services practice in addition to having a strategic role in providing a variety of services to our business, governmental, and non-profit clients. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve providing accounting and advisory related solutions to our clients, and effectively leading and managing team members. This will include a keen ability to engage clients in a professional manner, passion for helping others, and a strong aptitude in both written and verbal communication skills. Team members are provided with a clear path for career development and support to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise full client engagements
  2. Financial planning and analysis
  3. Federal, State, and Local grant and fund reporting oversight
  4. Forecasting and budget planning
  5. Sales and use tax compliance, oversight, and audit support
  6. Oversight of external financial statement audit
  7. Participation in business development and marketing efforts
  8. Team oversight, development, and performance coaching

Requirements

  1. Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
  2. Active CPA, CMA, or MBA
  3. Minimum 8 years relevant accounting and business advisory experience
  4. Minimum 3-5 years public accounting experience preferred
  5. Non-profit accounting experience preferred
  6. Experience in QuickBooks, Intacct, or NetSuite

Qualifications

  1. Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  2. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Professional, personable, and patient
  4. Previous experience in management and team oversight
  5. Demonstrates ability to resolve complex client accounting issues
  6. Servant focused mindset toward managing client relationships and team relationships
  7. Organized and able to prioritize tasks
  8. Ability to adapt to multiple businesses/industries
  9. Ability to work overtime to meet client and firm needs
  10. Effective stress management
  11. Contributes to firm mission, vision, values, and goals; including DEI efforts
