4-month fixed term contract
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £49,464.43 per annum plus car allowance £2,500

Hundred Houses Society exists to provide great value, low-cost homes for the people of Greater Cambridge and constantly strives to deliver better customer service. As well as focusing on delivering more new build homes, they are continually investing and modernising customer’s’ homes. The society has an extensive history, of nearly 100 years, and is a society based on strong ethics.
The role’s overall purpose is to lead the team and the delivery of the housing management service for current and future tenants, leaseholders and the local communities.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering a high quality compliant housing and estate management service
Providing leadership to the Housing teams utilising coaching approaches to support and embed the values driven culture throughout the Housing team
Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Ensure the team provides support to vulnerable tenants and responds to feedback
Developing and building upon initiatives to deliver business improvement
Promote a customer and performance based culture
Drive sustained performance and assume accountability for all areas of the housing team.
Experience and skills required:
Technical knowledge and understanding of housing management functions ideally gained with a social housing provider
Knowledge of a range of social housing tenures, rents and service charges
Awareness of housing related legislation
Ability to build strong working relationships with external stakeholders and partners
Collaborative and inclusive leadership skills
Understand and relate to Hundred Houses core values
Strong technology related skills with expertise in utilising technology to deliver service improvement.
An ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
Level 4 certificate or level 5 diploma in housing or a foundation degree CIH or equivalent is essential.
