Our client is an established specialist contractor looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in pricing, securing and managing painting and decorating contracts from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey properties and structures to assess works required.
- Price and estimate painting and decorating projects, including labour, materials, resources and programme requirements.
- Prepare well-presented and competitive tender packages.
- Produce risk assessments and method statements, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed throughout each project.
- Manage contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered in line with programme, quality, safety and commercial expectations.
- Oversee and manage site-based operatives.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, internal teams and site staff throughout each project.
Requirements
- Experience pricing painting and decorating projects.
- Proven experience winning work through competitive tendering.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
