About the Client
Our Client is a technical contractor delivering specialist assessments and engineering solutions across the UK. They are now seeking an experienced Technical Surveyor to support site-based surveys, reporting, and client liaison on wind-sensitive and complex structures, with a pathway for future growth into delivery and commercial roles.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Support operational teams in planning and executing technical surveys
- Undertake condition inspection surveys of wind-sensitive structures
- Carry out site-based evaluations and prepare structured technical reports
- Assist with engineering project delivery, including calculations and supporting documentation
- Contribute to cost planning and tender support as experience grows
- Maintain project documentation, including RAMS (risk assessments and method statements)
- Produce and edit technical drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk, or similar
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders on project progress and planning
- Travel to multiple UK sites with occasional overnight stays (expenses covered)
Qualifications
Essential:
- HNC or equivalent in engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical surveying, inspection, or engineering
- Competent in site-based technical work, including working at height
Note: Applicants not meeting the above essential criteria will not be progressed.
