Senior Scaffolding Estimator

Job Title: Senior Estimator – Scaffolding  Location: North East London  Salary: Up to £95,000 per annum (DOE)  Software: Smart Scaffolder Company Overview We’re working with a fast-growing and highly reputable scaffolding firm based in North East London. With projects ranging up to £4 million, they’ve built a strong reputation for delivering complex and large-scale access solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their dynamic team. Role Overview As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-construction team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and compliant estimates for scaffolding projects, ensuring all commercial and technical aspects are addressed. You’ll work closely with the operations and commercial teams, and play a key part in securing new business and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for projects up to £4 million in value. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate scaffold designs and take-offs. Use Smart Scaffolder software to generate accurate pricing and plans. Engage with clients, main contractors, and suppliers during the tender process. Conduct site visits where necessary to assess project requirements. Analyse labour, material, and time requirements for each project. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scaffolding regulations and industry best practices. Support and mentor junior estimators (if applicable). Attend pre- and post-tender meetings as required. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating within the scaffolding or access industry. Proven track record of pricing scaffolding packages on projects of similar value. Strong understanding of access and temporary works requirements. Proficiency in Smart Scaffolder software is essential. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders concurrently. Full UK driving licence preferred (for site visits). Why Join This Firm?
