We’re working with an established specialist interiors contractor looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience within CAT A fit-out or specialist interior packages, who is looking to join a busy contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
The Role
You’ll be involved across the full commercial lifecycle of projects, including:
- Cost control and commercial reporting
- Monthly valuations and applications for payment
- Managing variations
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Preparing and maintaining CVRs
- Reviewing contract documentation
- Managing commercial risk
- Supporting projects through to final account
- Working closely with operational and project teams
The Ideal Candidate
Ideally, you’ll have Quantity Surveying experience within CAT A fit-out or specialist interiors, with exposure to packages such as:
- Drylining
- Ceilings
- SFS
- Doors / doorsets
- Architectural steel
- Raised access flooringExperience working for a specialist subcontractor would be particularly relevant, alongside good commercial knowledge and an understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
