Role Overview\\nOur client is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within their Passive Fire Protection division. The role focuses on winning new work, developing key client relationships, and increasing market share across commercial, residential, and industrial projects.\\n\\nThis position suits someone with strong knowledge of passive fire protection services, UK fire safety regulations, and a proven ability to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nIdentify and secure new business opportunities within the passive fire protection market\\n\\nBuild and manage relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, developers, housing associations, and local authorities\\n\\nPromote PFP services including fire stopping, fire doors, compartmentation, penetration sealing, and surveys\\n\\nPrepare and present proposals, tenders, and client presentations\\n\\nWork closely with estimating, operations, and compliance teams to ensure commercially viable and deliverable solutions\\n\\nMaintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM systems\\n\\nMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments\\n\\nAttend networking events, site visits, and industry meetings as required\\n\\nAchieve agreed sales targets while maintaining compliance with fire safety legislation and quality standards\\n\\nEssential Experience\\n\\nProven business development or sales experience within passive fire protection, fire safety, or construction\\n\\nStrong understanding of UK fire safety regulations, British Standards, and third-party accreditation schemes (e.g. FIRAS, BM TRADA, IFC)\\n\\nTrack record of generating leads and converting them into profitable contracts\\n\\nConfident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills\\n\\nCommercially aware and comfortable working independently\\n\\nFull UK driving licence\\n\\nDesirable\\n\\nFire safety or construction-related qualifications\\n\\nKnowledge of post-Grenfell building safety and compliance frameworks\\n\\nExperience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors\\n\\nWhatβs on Offer\\n\\nCompetitive basic salary with uncapped commission\\n\\nPension scheme\\n\\nClear progression within a growing specialist business\\n\\nSupportive environment with strong technical and operational backing
