This is the engine room of the Passive Fire team. You’ll keep fire door and fire stopping works running smoothly from enquiry through to completion — setting jobs up properly, keeping paperwork watertight, and making sure engineers are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

If you like structure, clarity, and being the person who actually knows what’s going on… you’ll enjoy this.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing enquiries, quotes, job setup and scheduling across passive fire works
  • Coordinating engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site access
  • Keeping documentation audit-ready (photos, certificates, install records, surveys)
  • Supporting invoicing with the right evidence, first time
  • Acting as the main admin contact for clients, tenants and managing agents
  • Making sure maintenance, remedials and chargeable works don’t get muddled

Why this role stands out:

  • Central role with real responsibility — not a “support on the side” job
  • Exposure to fire doors, fire stopping and fire safety consultancy
  • High trust, delivery-focused environment
  • You make compliance easier for everyone else

What they’re looking for:

  • Admin or coordination experience within construction, compliance or service delivery
  • Strong organisation skills — multiple live jobs won’t faze you
  • Confident communicator who’s comfortable dealing with clients and site teams
  • Sharp eye for detail, especially around documentation
  • Experience with job management systems (Simpro, OneTrace or similar)

Nice to have (not deal-breakers):

  • Fire safety or passive fire exposure
  • Familiarity with BM TRADA / FIRAS-style compliance environments
  • Subcontractor coordination experience

If you’re the type who enjoys bringing order to chaos — and quietly keeping everything on track — this one’s for you.
