An established and growing specialist contractor within the glazing and partitioning sector is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects across London. The company delivers premium glazed partitioning, fire-rated systems and specialist interior glazing packages across commercial, education, healthcare and residential sectors, working closely with main contractors, architects and end clients.

This role would suit an experienced Project Manager with a proven background delivering glazing, partitioning, façade or architectural glass packages.

The Role:

  • Managing projects from pre-construction through to installation and final handover
  • Coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers and specialist installers
  • Attending client meetings, progress reviews and site inspections
  • Managing programmes, budgets, variations and commercial reporting
  • Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
  • Producing weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Overseeing QA, snagging and project close-out processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating as a Project Manager
  • 5+ years’ experience within the commercial construction sector
  • Background within glazing, partitioning, façades, architectural glass or building envelope packages
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction specifications
  • Commercial awareness and programme management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • SMSTS and relevant construction qualifications advantageous
