Our client is a well-established commercial flooring contractor delivering projects across Greater London. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of flooring projects ranging from £10k to £1m. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team that values collaboration, professional development and a positive working environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple flooring projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget. The role will involve attending the company's North East London office approximately three times per week, with the remainder of the time spent visiting and managing sites across Greater London.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing commercial flooring projects across Greater London
- Coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and site activities
- Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Monitoring programme, quality and health & safety compliance
- Managing project costs, variations and procurement activities
- Carrying out regular site inspections and progress reviews
- Ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and client expectations
- Supporting project teams to resolve operational and commercial issues
Requirements
- Previous experience managing commercial flooring projects
- CSCS Card is essential
- SMSTS is desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full UK Driving Licence
