About the Role

Our client is a specialist fire safety contractor delivering compliant fire protection solutions across the UK. They design, manufacture, install and maintain fire-rated doorsets and passive fire systems across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee passive fire protection projects including fire doors, fire stopping and compartmentation works from start to completion.

The role involves managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining compliance and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience as a Site Manager within passive fire protection, fire & security or construction
  • Strong knowledge of fire doors, fire stopping and compartmentation systems
  • Experience managing multi-million pound projects
  • Understanding of fire regulations and FRA works
  • Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to monitor project performance
  • IT literate with experience using site reporting systems
  • Carpentry or fire door background desirable
  • Full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage passive fire projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate daily site operations and installation teams
  • Oversee fire door, fire stopping and compartmentation installations
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and QA standards
  • Carry out site inspections, inductions and safety checks
