Roles/Responsibilities
- Liaise with pre-contracts team and clients to ensure smooth project transitions
- Conduct pre-start site surveys
- Measure, check, and take off drawings using flooring-specific software
- Order materials and coordinate delivery schedules
- Procure, manage, and allocate labour resources effectively
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, surveyors, and site teams
- Attend and actively participate in site meetings
- Oversee multiple live installations across various sites
- Ensure health and safety compliance across all projects
- Create and manage RAMS documentation
- Monitor and document project variations and changes
- Handle site and client requests efficiently
- Maintain detailed records and project documentation
- Prepare and manage O&M manuals
- Ensure timely delivery within budget parameters
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in commercial flooring
- In-depth knowledge of flooring products and installation techniques
- Experience with subfloor preparation
- Strong client-facing and team leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (industry-specific software a plus)
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- CSCS card required; SSSTS preferred
- Full UK driving licence
