Our client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support major construction projects across Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an H&S professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys travelling while working on high-profile schemes across digital technology, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare and residential sectors.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, driving best practice, and supporting operational teams across multiple European sites.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site audits, toolbox talks and deliver H&S training
- Maintain and develop the company’s Safety Management System
- Ensure safety accreditations are upheld and improved
- Monitor legislative updates and support implementation of changes
- Review and update RAMS, SOPs, Safety Statements and associated documentation
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents and near-misses
- Liaise with HSE bodies, auditors, clients and insurers where required
- Support induction processes, first aid, manual handling and mandatory training
- Carry out site inspections, plant/tool audits, COSHH assessments and noise assessments
- Assist with permit-to-work, induction training and supervisory duties where required
- Prepare H&S reporting for managers and contribute to tender and pre-qualification submissions
- Degree in Health & Safety or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar H&S advisory role
- Strong knowledge of current legislation, compliance and best practice
- Confident delivering training and producing high-quality H&S reports
- Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills
- Full driving licence
- Comfortable working across multiple European locations
- £70k – £80k package including flights & accommodation
