About the Client

Roles/Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to build accurate estimates (materials, labor, and time).
- Create estimates from internal design drawings to support client quotations.
- Track project costs and monitor actual spend against original estimates.
- Manage purchasing/procurement, including sourcing suppliers and negotiating pricing/terms.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, internal teams, and installation teams to resolve cost or supply issues.
- Partner with sales, design teams, and subcontractors to refine and update estimates.
- Support management with cost planning, scheduling, reporting, and budget monitoring.
- Prepare regular cost/expenditure reports and maintain strong budget controls.
- Maintain and grow a reliable supplier/subcontractor database.
- Support improvements to tendering and procurement processes.
- Ensure effective cross-department communication to maintain efficiency.
- Contribute to business growth, financial performance, and key project delivery as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of construction/build processes, tendering, and JCT contracts.
- Experience using estimating and/or procurement software.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven supplier management experience.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills across multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Understanding of materials, supply chains, and cost control processes.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
