Roles/Responsibilities Identify and approach prospective customers through telephone, email, social media, and market research. Proactively generate new business opportunities across commercial and industrial markets. Introduce the company’s specialist services to prospective customers and key decision-makers. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across public and private sector organisations. Understand customer requirements and identify suitable service opportunities. Follow up on leads and enquiries to progress potential opportunities. Develop existing accounts to generate repeat and additional business. Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) where required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information. Keep the customer database updated with communications, opportunities, and follow-up activity. Develop a strong understanding of the company’s services to communicate their value effectively. Work proactively to build a healthy pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities.Qualifications Previous sales experience, ideally within telephone-based sales, B2B sales, business development, or account management. Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach. Proactive attitude towards identifying and developing new business opportunities. Construction industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
