Roles & Responsibilities

  • Managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to final handover
  • Reviewing contract documentation, technical specifications, and drawings
  • Preparing project programmes, technical submissions, and health & safety documentation
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointment processes
  • Coordinating with internal BIM, CAD, estimating, and site delivery teams
  • Overseeing project delivery, commissioning activities, and client handovers
  • Producing monthly progress reports, applications, variations, and commercial reporting
  • Managing Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, and specialist teams
  • Attending client, contractor, and consultant meetings throughout project lifecycle
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially, and within programme

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within Mechanical Building Services
  • Previous experience managing projects valued between £100K–£5M
  • HNC/HND qualification in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial processes
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and project programming software
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence and valid CSCS Card required
