Contracts Manager - Demolitions

An opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of civil engineering projects across Bristol, Gloucester and Cardiff. You’ll be the commercial guardian for projects, ensuring contractual compliance, margin protection and strong client relationships.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n• Contract Leadership: Manage contracts across multiple live projects in the Bristol, Gloucester and Cardiff areas, ensuring obligations and deliverables are met.\\n• Commercial Management: Lead commercial activities including valuation of variations, change control, cashflow forecasting and cost-to-complete reporting.\\n• Client & Subcontractor Relations: Act as the primary commercial point of contact, resolving disputes, negotiating terms and strengthening long-term client relationships.\\n• Risk & Claims Management: Identify contractual risks, prepare claims when appropriate and implement mitigation strategies.\\n• Tender Support: Work with estimating and operations teams to review tender documents, input commercial assumptions and support bid pricing.\\n • Reporting & Governance: Provide regular commercial reports and support senior leadership on contract performance and improvement opportunities.\\n\\nQualifications & Experience\\n\\n• Background in commercial or contracts roles within civils, groundworks or infrastructure.\\n• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 and standard forms of contract.\\n• Experienced with valuation, change control and contractual claims.\\n• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset.\\n • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with commercial reporting tools is advantageous.\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\n• Competitive salary commensurate with experience\\n• Car allowance or company car\\n• Contributory pension scheme\\n• 27 days annual leave\\n • Performance-related bonus scheme\\n\\nLocation & Travel\\n\\nRole focused on projects in Bristol, Gloucester and Cardiff – you should be comfortable with regional travel and occasional overnight stays.\\n\\nClosing\\n\\nIf guarding margin, shaping contract outcomes and building client trust sounds like your cup of tea, send your CV
