Our Client is a growing specialist contractor delivering fire door installation, maintenance, and compliance works across residential, social housing, and public-sector projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Fire Door Site Manager to oversee multiple live projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works across multiple live sites
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
  • Carry out site inspections and monitor works to ensure compliance with BM TRADA, FIRAS, and relevant fire safety standards
  • Coordinate site logistics, materials, labour, and programme requirements
  • Ensure all fire door works are completed in line with specifications, compliance standards, and client expectations
  • Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and ensure RAMS are implemented on site
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients
  • Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and support client and resident liaison where required
  • Identify and resolve site issues quickly to maintain programme continuity
  • Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality assurance, and record keeping across all projects

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience managing fire door installation or passive fire protection projects
  • Strong understanding of fire door compliance, inspections, remedial works, and associated regulations
  • Experience working within social housing, residential, or public-sector environments
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, direct labour, and multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Good organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach to site management
  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and site compliance requirements
  • Relevant site qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred
  • FIRAS, BM TRADA, or FDIS knowledge would be advantageous
