Our Client is a growing specialist contractor delivering fire door installation, maintenance, and compliance works across residential, social housing, and public-sector projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Fire Door Site Manager to oversee multiple live projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to programme.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works across multiple live sites
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and operatives to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
- Carry out site inspections and monitor works to ensure compliance with BM TRADA, FIRAS, and relevant fire safety standards
- Coordinate site logistics, materials, labour, and programme requirements
- Ensure all fire door works are completed in line with specifications, compliance standards, and client expectations
- Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and ensure RAMS are implemented on site
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients
- Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and support client and resident liaison where required
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly to maintain programme continuity
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, quality assurance, and record keeping across all projects
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing fire door installation or passive fire protection projects
- Strong understanding of fire door compliance, inspections, remedial works, and associated regulations
- Experience working within social housing, residential, or public-sector environments
- Ability to manage subcontractors, direct labour, and multiple stakeholders effectively
- Good organisational and communication skills with a proactive approach to site management
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and site compliance requirements
- Relevant site qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred
- FIRAS, BM TRADA, or FDIS knowledge would be advantageous
