Our Client is a leading subcontractor operating across structural alterations, structural refurbishments, and cut-and-carve redevelopment projects throughout Central London. They are known for delivering technically demanding schemes involving major reconfiguration, temporary works, and complex interfaces with existing structures.
Roles / Responsibilities
- Take commercial responsibility across multiple structural alteration projects in Central London
- Manage cut-and-carve redevelopment schemes, structural strengthening, and reconfiguration works
- Oversee basement and superstructure modification packages
- Handle projects with heavy temporary works and integration with existing structures
- Lead cost control, procurement, subcontract management, and valuations
- Produce commercial reports and manage change, variations, and commercial risk
- Work closely with design, temporary works, and operational teams
Qualifications
- Strong QS experience within a specialist subcontractor environment
- Proven exposure to structural alterations or cut-and-carve projects
- Solid understanding of variations on technically driven schemes
- Comfortable liaising with design, temporary works, and site teams
- Commercially focused, with experience in London construction environments
£80K–£90K basic salary (DOE)
