Overview

Our client is one of the UK’s longest-established providers of fall protection and height safety systems, delivering specialist installation and inspection services to clients across construction, retail, healthcare, education, food & beverage, and more. They are seeking a Lead Safety Technician to join their site installation team. Full training is provided, including the opportunity to work toward an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Safety Systems Installation.

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission fall protection products at customer sites across the UK
  • Carry out repairs, modifications, and recertifications of systems
  • Liaise with site contacts and clients, maintaining a professional, service-led approach
  • Complete inspection reports and plans identifying system compliance
  • Support training of client teams on installed systems
  • Assist with PPE inspections and identify on-site sales opportunities where appropriate
  • Communicate with the contracts team during ongoing works

Requirements

  • Experience in site-based installation, technical inspections, or safety systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Good communication skills and a personable, professional manner
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to complete site records accurately
  • Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight as required
  • Team player with a safety-first approach and high standards of workmanship
  • Full product training and progression into NVQ Level 3 Safety Systems Installer
