A senior commercial leadership role overseeing the financial, contractual and commercial delivery of complex façade and envelope projects. This position plays a critical role in margin protection, cashflow management and commercial governance from contract award through final account.
About the Client
Our Client is a well-established specialist contractor delivering façade, glazing, cladding and remediation projects. The business operates in a highly structured, systems-driven environment and places strong emphasis on commercial control, governance and accurate financial reporting across project delivery.
- Take full ownership of commercial performance from contract award to final account
- Produce and manage monthly valuations, CVRs, cost forecasts and commercial exposure reports
- Administer subcontractor accounts, variations, payment notices and procurement commitments
- Protect contractual entitlement through timely notices, claims and change management
- Lead the preparation, negotiation and agreement of variations and final accounts
- Support procurement strategy, supplier negotiations and commercial risk management
- Align commercial forecasts with programme, design and operational changes
- Manage cost control, cashflow forecasting, WIP, retention and treasury reporting
- Ensure accurate and compliant use of CoreLink, Business Central and related systems
- Provide commercial input to recovery strategies, acceleration and resequencing
- Lead, mentor and manage QS, AQS and commercial support teams
- Represent the business in client, PQS, subcontractor and supplier meetings
Qualifications
- 7–12 years’ commercial experience within façades, glazing, cladding or specialist contracting
- Strong contractual, financial and commercial management capability
- Solid understanding of procurement, fabrication, installation and design workflows
- Strong digital literacy with ERP and commercial reporting systems
- Confident negotiator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage risk, protect margin and maintain governance under pressure
- Senior management role on high-value, technically complex projects
- Strong systems, governance and leadership support environment
