An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Pennell & Partners Estate Agents, the only independently owned estate and lettings agent with offices in both Peterborough and Whittlesey. We cover all aspects of residential sales, lettings, and professional property management services. We are seeking a driven individual to join us as Property Manager based at our office in Whittelsey.
Reporting to the Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of our Lettings Administrator and the proactive management and administration of the tenancies ensuring the smooth running of the managed and tenant find portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the accounting and rent payments to landlords.
- Responsible for overseeing our Lettings Administrator who organises all property maintenance, property inspections, and compliance.
- You will conduct annual rent reviews to ensure rents are in line with market value.
- Manage check outs and resolve any disputes involving property dilapidations.
- Carry out AST renewals where required.
- Registering, re-registering and unprotecting of deposits.
- Complete detailed inventories.
- Administration of rent guarantee policies and renewals when necessary.
- Handle tenant viewing enquiries.
- Proven lettings administration experience.
- Knowledge of lettings industry legal framework.
- Proactive and takes responsibility for own actions.
- Thorough with an eye for detail and deadline driven.
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
