An exciting opportunity for an experienced Lettings Manager to take full ownership of a growing lettings department. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on business development, revenue growth, and team performance. You’ll be responsible for increasing market share, winning new instructions, and driving profitability, while delivering an exceptional service to landlords and tenants. Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Growth
    • Drive growth of the lettings portfolio (managed & let-only)
    • Proactively generate new landlord opportunities through canvassing, networking, and database activity
    • Attend market appraisals and convert valuations into instructions
    • Build long-term relationships with landlords and investors
    • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through additional services
  • Financial Performance & KPIs
    • Deliver against income, profitability, and growth targets
    • Monitor and manage KPIs including:
      • Appraisals booked & attended
      • Conversion rates
      • New instructions
      • Portfolio growth
      • Landlord retention
    • Work closely with senior leadership to achieve revenue goals
  • Team Leadership & Management
    • Lead, motivate, and develop the lettings team
    • Drive a high-performance culture focused on results and customer service
    • Monitor individual performance and provide coaching where needed
    • Conduct regular 1-2-1s, team meetings, and performance reviews
  • Marketing & Brand Growth
    • Work with marketing to generate landlord leads
    • Support campaigns, social media, and local networking activity
    • Promote the brand within the local market
  • Compliance & Legislation
    • Ensure full compliance with lettings legislation and best practice
    • Keep the team up to date with regulatory changes
  • Customer Experience
    • Deliver a high level of service to landlords and tenants
    • Handle escalated issues and complaints professionally
    • Build strong relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Cross-Selling & Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales teams to maximise landlord opportunities
    • Identify investment buyers and convert them into landlords

About You

Experience

  • Proven track record in residential lettings
  • Strong experience in valuations and winning new business
  • Previous leadership or senior lettings experience preferred
