An exciting opportunity for a Property Manager to join a successful Independent Agent with a network of branches over Surrey and Hampshire. The role will be based at the Alton office.
Basic Salary: £27,000 - OTE £32,000
Our client is looking for an experienced motivated individual who is both commercially aware and able to hit the ground running with a strong desire to build on their current skill set and develop their career further in Property Management. They are looking for someone who demonstrates negotiation, organisation and administration skills together with a sound knowledge and experience in using databases and Microsoft Office.
Skills required:
- 1+ years Property Management experience essential
- Excellent self-presentation
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues both verbally and in written form
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Motivated to be successful and to achieve objectives
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- IT Literate
- Have a bright enthusiastic personality, a 'can do' attitude with a good sense of humour
- Clean driving license and own car
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of properties
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with landlords, tenants and lettings branch staff
- Ensure that maintenance problems are dealt with effectively and in an appropriate timescale
- Manage and negotiate deposit returns through the deposit release process
- Investigate and resolve informal complaints and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
- Coordinate end of tenancy and pre-tenancy work with lettings branches
- Develop relationships with a Preferred Supplier list of contractors
- Negotiate with landlord and tenant over the return of disputed deposit deductions
- Manage a database of contractors
- Carry out property inspection visits as required
- Help out in other areas of the business when required
This is a Monday - Friday role 9.00am - 5.30pm. Excellent package of Basic, car allowance and bonuses.
