We are now looking for an Education Recruitment Consultant to join our North West team in Preston, focusing on delivering high-quality matches between schools and educators, with a strong emphasis on long-term and high-value placements.
The Role
As an Education Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and fulfilling school staffing requirements, ensuring roles are filled efficiently and to a high standard. You will work across a high-volume, fast-paced environment, supporting both schools and educators throughout the full matching process — from initial requirement through to successful placement. This role is heavily focused on maximising filled roles, driving utilisation, and delivering a strong service experience to both clients and educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise the number of roles filled across your market, with a focus on long-term and high-value placements
- Proactively match educators to school requirements using the platform and other recruitment methods
- Follow up on placements to ensure successful outcomes and identify further opportunities with schools
- Build strong relationships with schools to generate repeat business and additional bookings
- Deliver an excellent experience for educators, supporting them into suitable roles quickly
- Work closely with the recruitment team to place newly cleared educators into their first role
- Handle queries from schools and educators via phone and email where required
- Support schools and educators in using the Humly platform effectively
- Maintain a strong focus on performance targets, particularly around worked hours and fill rates
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities based on business and market needs

Working Pattern
- Monday – Thursday: 07:15 – 17:00
- Friday: Early finish
- Work from home: Thursdays
- School holidays: Reduced working hours
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £27,500 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus: Team-based commission (5% – 30% of monthly gross)
