We work with a wide range of Hampshire Local Authority, SEN, Academy, and Independent schools, all seeking specialist Maths Teachers for both short-term and long-term assignments.
The Role
- Deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 Mathematics lessons
- Follow pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring active student participation
- Develop students’ problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
- Support learners in building confidence with numeracy and mathematical concepts
- Uphold each school's values and ethos
- Collaborate with department members to ensure high-quality learning experiences
- For long-term assignments: planning, marking, and participation in departmental meetings will be required and paid to scale
Requirements
- Passion for inspiring young people through mathematics
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) OR a minimum of 3 months school teaching experience within the last 2 years
- ECTs and overseas-trained teachers welcome to apply
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and challenge learners of all abilities
