What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver pre-set lessons to secondary pupils (ages 11–16) in the absence of the class teacher
- Supervise work in line with school policies
- Maintain a positive and constructive learning environment
- Respond to pupil questions about lesson content or procedures
- Address any immediate issues or emergencies following school protocols
- Collect completed work and return it to the appropriate teacher
- Report pupil behaviour or incidents in line with agreed school referral procedures
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 months' recent experience in childcare, youth work, sports coaching, tutoring, class presentation, or similar
- Confidence in communicating with pupils aged 11–16
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A proactive, supportive, and professional attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with both pupils and staff
