We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established Forest School nursery in Andover on a permanent, long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives outdoors, enjoys child-led learning, and wants to be part of a nurturing, nature-focused early years environment.
The Role
- Create a safe, stimulating outdoor environment rooted in Forest School principles
- Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures
- Lead and support outdoor activities, nature exploration, and child-initiated play
- Provide warm, positive interactions and greet every child with a welcoming approach
- Deliver high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a consistent, supportive team culture
- Follow and implement the daily Forest School routine
- Assist with snack/meal times, tidying, and light domestic tasks
Requirements
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
- Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to provide two proofs of address and references for last 2 years
- Willingness to follow safeguarding and EYFS guidelines
