Humly North West is acting as an employment business to recruit a versatile Teaching Assistant for a full-time Summer Term booking at a primary school in Carlisle, supporting across Year 1 and Year 6 from mid-May until the end of the academic year.
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting
- Confident supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Able to support early phonics, classroom routines and pupil engagement
- Comfortable assisting with Year 6 transition work, projects and end-of-year activities
- Flexible, reliable and able to adapt between different year groups
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
You will be splitting your time between Year 1 and Year 6, supporting younger pupils with early learning and phonics while also helping older pupils with transition activities and classroom projects.
