Humly is recruiting a SEND Primary Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term temporary basis. This is a full-time role starting 23 February 2026 and continuing until 17 July 2026. The position would suit an experienced and passionate SEND teacher who is confident leading an Additional Provision classroom and supporting pupils with complex needs in a highly personalised learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering engaging, personalised lessons for a small group of pupils with high-level SEND
- Supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD and non-verbal communication
- Leading and coordinating a small team of Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent provision
- Creating a structured, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Working closely with the SENDCo, parents and external professionals
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with pupils with complex SEND needs
- Strong understanding of personalised learning and adaptive teaching strategies
- Confidence leading support staff within a specialist or additional provision setting

Pay
Non-AWR: £130 – £150 per day AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
