Humly is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role starting 09/02/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. This role would suit a compassionate and proactive support professional experienced in SEND, able to provide consistent 1:1 and small-group support across Key Stage 1.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups across Key Stage 1
  • Deliver tailored learning activities and interventions to meet individual needs
  • Implement strategies for behaviour management, de-escalation, and co-regulation
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
  • Assist with classroom preparation and organisation to enhance learning

  • Enhanced DBS required (Humly can support with an Enhanced DBS at a cost to the educator)
