Humly is recruiting a Science Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role starting in February and continuing until the end of the Summer term. This role would suit a confident and adaptable practitioner who can engage pupils across a range of abilities and deliver high-quality science teaching within a supportive department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and maintaining positive behaviour in the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging mixed science lessons across Key Stage 3
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and outcomes
  • Support pupils' individual learning needs through targeted interventions

Pay

Paid to scale from day one: £168.80 - £232.57 per day (M1 - M6)
