Humly is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school on a long-term, maternity cover basis. This is a part-time role starting 23 February 2026 and continuing until 17 July 2026, working Wednesdays and Thursdays. This role would suit a confident HLTA who can provide consistency, strong classroom leadership, and high-quality teaching in the class teacher's absence.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 3 class in the class teacher's absence
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the curriculum and school guidelines
- Support pupils' learning and development through targeted interventions
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Assess pupils' progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth
