Humly is recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school on an ongoing basis. This is a full-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing on a permanent basis. This role would suit a compassionate and proactive individual with experience supporting pupils with additional needs, who is confident working both in the classroom and in small group settings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with SEND to access learning across KS3 and KS4
- Assisting the class teacher with adapting resources and lesson activities
- Delivering targeted interventions and small group support
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting pupil engagement
- Building strong relationships to support pupils' confidence and independence
- Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to monitor progress
