Humly is recruiting a SEN/Primary Teacher QTS to join a primary school on a long-term basis. This is a part-time role starting 27/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026, with potential to extend into the Autumn Term. This role would suit a versatile and experienced teacher who is confident delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum while also supporting pupils with additional needs within a Resource Provision. The position offers a balance of mainstream teaching and targeted SEN support across four days per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Year 1/2 national curriculum
- Support pupils within a Resource Provision, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Implement Read, Write Inc. strategies effectively across both settings
- Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment
- Assess pupil progress and adapt planning to support development
- Work collaboratively with support staff and SEN professionals
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally mixed Year 1/2
- Strong understanding of SEN and inclusive teaching practices
- Proven experience using Read, Write Inc.
- Confidence managing behaviour and supporting diverse learning needs
- Ability to quickly establish routines and build positive relationships
Pay £130 – £160+ per day
