Humly is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a temporary basis for the Summer Term. This is a part-time role starting 13/04/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. Working four days per week, this role would suit a flexible and proactive Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting across year groups and delivering small group interventions to help pupils make strong progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups within the classroom
  • Adapting learning activities to meet a range of pupil needs
  • Delivering small group interventions in areas such as reading, writing and mathematics
  • Promoting confidence, resilience and independence in pupils’ learning
  • Contributing to a positive, purposeful and nurturing learning environment
